It didn't matter that they were both naked in a bathroom, the water running to fill the tub which put them on a timer. It didn't matter that there was no ring and that Will wasn't there right now. This moment was real. These feelings were real. Kim needed to sit down and Riley was quick to move over to him to cup his face so he could get his boyfriend to look up at him.

The tears fell as he smiled. Because he was truly so happy and Riley always had been a crier. Happy or sad or angry... He could cry at the drop of a hat and wasn't at all ashamed of it.

"I love you so much, Kim. I know that Will isn't here right now but I know that we both love you so very much. You're precious to us and one of our greatest treasures." He paused a moment and leaned down to give him a soft kiss. "While I don't know if Will is ready to be married to someone else right now, that doesn't change how we feel about you. The fact that you love us that much is so precious. Let's keep learning about each other and if you still want to marry us sometime later then make sure it's special and both Will and I are ready for that. Until then..."

Looking to the bath, he guided some of the water out and turned it into a guitar pick with a snowflake at the center of it. "Will you take this as a gesture of how much I love you? How much I value you too? How much I want you in my life?"
