(( Lift his hands to lay over Riley's, Will sighs and a subtle smile crosses his face. It seems silly, but he truly thinks they were made for each other. Riley truly is his greatest love. All the love in his heart he could pour into this Fae for the rest of his life and Will would be content to do so. ))

[Riley laughs softly.] Stories make the whole soulmate thing seem so silly and romantic. But I've always believed you are mine anyway. The one made for me. My other half.
(( Will dips his head, taking Riley's left and twining their fingers together. The rings they wore were an outward symbol of their devotion to each other. Will gazed fondly on them and smiles when he meets Riley's eyes. ))
I loved Lawan so much when she was alive. I'm not sure I realized how much until she was taken from me. It's easy to look back and see it now. It's easy to say I might have married someday, even knowing her life would be so much shorter than mine. The fact is that I didn't. If she had lived longer... I'm can't say with certainty I would've. I've never wanted that with anyone until I met you.
I had people I loved so much. I still remember their faces, their names, their dreams. I remember what they looked like when they smiled and laughed just as much as I remember what they looked like when they were taken from me.
[Riley gazes into those beautiful eyes as he squeezes his hand.]
But with you the colors of the world are brighter. It's like I can see them all with greater clarity and I want to capture them so I can share them with you.
(( Will understood Riley's sentiment. He, too, had so many memories of people he'd loved. Some he grew old before his eyes, others who parted with him before the ravages of time could claim them. Men and women he'd loved for a season, for years, and some precious few he'd spent a lifetime with. Each one, a collection of hopes and dreams etched into his heart. Each one echoed in everything Will is now. But, unlike Riley's loved ones, most of his many loves didn't die horribly at the hands of the Fae. ))

[Riley's entire existence lights up at all the things they ordered showing up. Gasping, he bounces in his seat as he waits for them to put everything down, thanking everyone for bringing it before looking at his husband.]
(( Will wiggles more eagerly as each dish is set on the table before them. His eyes are practically glowing with excitement, his mind already thinking over what to try first. Once everything is there, he smiles and thanks the servers. ))
(( Will's expression grows as serious as Riley's, listening intently. Yes, that made sense! And, since Riley was closest, he swoops in for a quick kiss before turning his attention to the dish closest to him. ))
(( If they're making a scene, Will doesn't mind. Riley enjoys sweets so passionately and, for Will, it makes sharing them that much better. He leans in to take the offered bite, eyes rolling back in delight as the creamy concoction melts on his tongue. ))

(( It definitely sounds like sex is happening at their booth. ))
(( Will took a bite of a different ice cream and topping combo and moaned, letting his eyes roll back. As soon as he swallowed it, he spooned out a portion for Riley to taste. ))
Oh, oh~! Try this one with the peanut pretzel brittle. It's creamy and crunchy, but also sweet and salty!
[Because each time he takes a bite of one he's so happy. It's sweet and lovely and all the right textures. Even better because he's sharing it with Will one bite at a time.]
You know, as much as I like eating sweets with other people I like eating them with you the most. Because you appreciate them the same way I do which makes things like this so special.
