Riley tilted his head in thought at that. He even lifted a finger up to tap his chin as he did. "Hmmm...I like that. It's like we make a sunrise and sunset when we're together."
He blinked as he felt Will start to nibble on his finger. Then he giggled a little and poked his chin with it. "Very lucky. I'm glad you walked into that library and talked to me."
"At first I wasn't sure if I would. Or could. But then I looked at you through the window and knew that there was no way I could ever leave." Riley thought about it a moment as he thought back to that day several years ago now.
Riley hummed in thought. "I think maybe I was in love with you then too. I definitely felt like the world stopped when I looked up from my work as you walked into the library that first time."
'Yes," he agreed breathlessly. "I felt that way, too. It was like..." Those dark eyes drift up for a second. "It was like I saw you and all the poetry in the world made sense."
"I was so shocked about it," he admitted quietly. "I knew you were Fae, but you didn't react to me at all. Not it any way that indicated you knew what I was. That's why I wanted to see more of you." He looked down but nestled close. "I had to see for myself that you weren't like them. It was... a little scary thinking I could possible be in love with another Fae after everything they've done..."
"I really had no idea. It wasn't until recently I could even sense when other Fae are around." He hummed softly in thought then continued speaking.
"At first it felt like I'd been tricked when you told me. Like they'd managed to get to me again. But then I took one look at you and I knew you weren't them. You were different. Even before you told me everything I felt like we were the same somehow. Both people who had been hurt by the Fae. Every single day I'm glad I listened to my heart and went back inside."
"I couldn't move forward without you knowing truth." And if Riley hadn't accepted him? Well, he would've mourned it for the rest of his long life. They already had such potential, such depth of feeling from the very start.
He snuggles in closer and turns to nuzzle against Riley's hair. "I'm so grateful for you every day, love." He's loved so many but Riley was the brightest of all his stars.
Will giggled and carefully pulled riley into a hug. He didn’t want to spill the hot chocolate! He pressed a few kisses to Riley’s cheek. Ah, the love of his life, right here in his arms. Will couldn’t be happier than when they were together like this, just enjoying each other’s company.
“Our life together will always be amazing because we’ll always have each other.”

He smiled and let out a happy sigh. "Now I have this amazing life and I see so much hope and love in the future."
