We need a menu then!

[But he's already vibrating excitedly, still clinging to Will's hand as he looks for a server so they can get one. Because they're about to have so much food!]

(( Will catches the eye of a server and waves them over. Once they have a menu, he leans in close to Riley so they can look at it together. Dark eyes go wide at all choices and Will lets out a little 'ooohhh.' ))

What if we get a bunch of different parfaits and sundaes with different toppings?

Oh I love that idea. Then we can try a bunch of flavors that way. And with so many toppings too!

[Humming, he looks over the menu, leaning against Will as he does.]

Wow they have chocolate syrup and hot fudge! Usually you see one or the other!

Oooh, wow~! We should get both! On the same thing. And we need fresh strawberries. Look! It says they're fresh!

It looks like all the fruit is fresh. I wonder if they get it from Harmony Garden...

Oh, that would be nice if they did! It wouldn't have to go very far if they did. That would be so nice for Gaura. He loves his plants and takes such good care of them. He's like you with your art: passionate.

We should ask them if that's where they get their fruit when they come back! Oh and also I want to try their caramel. And it looks like they even have honey too. I wonder what we should get for crunch...

(( His tone and expression are absolutely, unflinchingly serious as he reaches to take his husband's hands. ))

This is going to be a hard decision. We might have to order enough ice cream to get every topping.

So why don't we? We can afford it!

[Guess who doesn't bat an eye.]

Yay~ (( He wiggles in his seat and gives his dearest's hands a squeeze. )) I think that's the best solution.

(( Glancing back to the menu, Will presses his lips together and hums. ))

For crunch, these all sound pretty yummy, but I definitely want to try the honey-coated maple nuts on something.

They do look really good. Oh there's dried raspberries! That will be fun too!

[Honestly all of it's fun. So when the waiter comes back Riley's happy to help start rambling off a million things they're going to order to share. Oh! And!]

Do you get your fruits from Harmony Garden?

(( Their server's eyes get progressively bigger and bigger the more they add to their order. They're so surprised by the size of it that they almost missed Riley's question. They're too busy wondering how in the world two people are going to consume that much ice cream! But, yes, they affirm that that's where they get their fruits from. After that nursery opened, it was able to provide fresh fruits more consistently than the previous supplier.

Will bounced where he sat, clapping his hands lightly at the news. He wanted his friend to do well because Gaura loved his garden and he did so much work to maintain it. He deserved success. ))

Oh, we'll need some extra napkins, too~

[His face lights up to know that Harmony Garden has been able to contribute to other businesses like this. And when the server is gone, looking paler than when they arrived, Riley looks back to Will.]

I'm so excited. Though I think our server might think we'll never eat all that ice cream.

(( Will brightens, too. Their friends are a real part of this community and that makes him happy. And yet Gaura always seems to have a surplus! He really works hard on his nursery.

Riley's observation got a soft chuckle out of Will. ))

Won't he be surprised?

Very! He's never met Fae who don't have a stopping point for sweets!

[Which endlessly thrills him. And he's so glad they always have pastries and candy and so on in their rooms because of that.]

That must be why I can't ever get enough of you. You're so sweet.

Hey! That was my line, silly!

(( Will laughed quietly and reached over to boop Riley's nose. ))

It's a good one. I had to borrow it.

[He leans into the boop all so that way he can chase after that finger to give it a smooch!]

(( A playful gasp answered that kiss and Will quickly pressed his kissed finger to his lips. ))

Thank you for coming here with me. When I found it, I had a feeling you'd love it.

You know me better than anyone. No matter what you find, if you have a feeling that I'll love it then it's basically a guarantee that I will.

[This time he gives him an actual kiss to his lips.]

I hope I can always do the same for you.

(( Will leans in to meat that kiss and smiles against Riley's lips. A hand lifts to brush lightly against hair, brushing it back behind his ear. WIll's careful to his keep touch light when they touch Riley's ear since he knows how sensitive it can be.

For a long moment, those warm brown eyes just peered at Riley. His precious husband. This kind, love, warm, amazing person, thi walking work of art chose to be with him, not once, but twice! His heart swelled at the thought and warmth seeped into his chest. ))

As long as you're happy, I'm happy.

How can I not be happy? I have you.

[Riley leans in to give him another kiss.]

Someone warm and kind and gentle. Who wanted to spend the rest of his life with him and who I'll always fight to protect. Someone beautiful in heart and body.

[Now he cups his face with both his hands as he gazes at him with so much love in his eyes.]

As long as I have you, I'll never not be happy. Even in my darkest hours.

(( Lift his hands to lay over Riley's, Will sighs and a subtle smile crosses his face. It seems silly, but he truly thinks they were made for each other. Riley truly is his greatest love. All the love in his heart he could pour into this Fae for the rest of his life and Will would be content to do so. ))

I'll be with you as long as you'll have me, love.

You're my soulmate, Will. I fully believe that. I'm never letting you go. My life would never be this wonderful without you in it.

[Riley laughs softly.] Stories make the whole soulmate thing seem so silly and romantic. But I've always believed you are mine anyway. The one made for me. My other half.

[floralias]

(( Will dips his head, taking Riley's left and twining their fingers together. The rings they wore were an outward symbol of their devotion to each other. Will gazed fondly on them and smiles when he meets Riley's eyes. ))

I loved Lawan so much when she was alive. I'm not sure I realized how much until she was taken from me. It's easy to look back and see it now. It's easy to say I might have married someday, even knowing her life would be so much shorter than mine. The fact is that I didn't. If she had lived longer... I'm can't say with certainty I would've. I've never wanted that with anyone until I met you.

I had people I loved so much. I still remember their faces, their names, their dreams. I remember what they looked like when they smiled and laughed just as much as I remember what they looked like when they were taken from me.

[Riley gazes into those beautiful eyes as he squeezes his hand.]

But with you the colors of the world are brighter. It's like I can see them all with greater clarity and I want to capture them so I can share them with you.
